Who we are

Smalltown Ads Tool ("the tool") is a private tool run by the owner of smalltownchina.com ("the operator", "we"). It is used to report on and manage Google advertising and analytics accounts that the operator owns or is authorized to manage. It is not offered to the public. Contact: zheqin.usa@gmail.com.

Data we access

• Sign-in. When someone signs in to the tool's connectors with Google, we request only the openid and email scopes. We read the email address to check it against the list of approved operators. We do not keep the Google access token or refresh token from sign-in.
• Account data. With credentials granted by the account owners, the tool reads and, when the operator asks, changes data in Google Ads, Google Merchant Center, Google Search Console and Google Analytics. This includes campaign settings and performance reports, product and feed data, search performance and website analytics.

How we use it

We use this data only to provide the tool's features to the operator: showing reports, analysing performance, and making changes in the accounts that the operator requests. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not use it to build profiles of individuals.

The operator may analyse reports with an AI assistant (Claude, by Anthropic) that they control. Data obtained through Google APIs is not used to develop, improve or train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models.

Storage and retention

• Sign-in authorization records, which contain the operator's email address, are stored in Cloudflare Workers KV and expire automatically.
• Reports the operator chooses to save are kept on the operator's own computer and workspace tools, and are deleted when no longer needed.
• Credentials are stored as encrypted secrets and are never published.

Sharing

We do not share Google user data with anyone except the service providers needed to run the tool: Google (the API provider), Cloudflare (hosting) and Anthropic (the operator's AI assistant). We may disclose data if the law requires it.

Google API Services User Data Policy

Smalltown Ads Tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Your choices

You can remove the tool's access to your Google account at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. To ask us to delete data related to you, email zheqin.usa@gmail.com; we reply within 30 days.

Security

All traffic uses HTTPS, access is limited to approved operator accounts, and credentials are kept as encrypted secrets.

Changes

We will post any change to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
